It has taken me the best part of 24 hours to become properly riled by the thrust and substance of Little John's recent speech to the Sydney Institute in which he called called for a referendum to secure a place for Australia's indigenous population in the nation's Constitution.
I don't remember casting a vote in a referendum when it was a question of denying the right to marry to same sex couples. Why do we need now to go to all the trouble and expense of a plebecite in order to include passing reference to the existence of something that exists, whether the constitution says so or not?
Just add slake lime, then cook for a long as possible
